Roland TB303

Often imitated but never equalled, the Roland TB303 is one of the most distinctive synths ever, responsible for the famous acid 'squelch' sound.

This monophonic synth / sequencer does acid like no other machine can, although a host of imitators including Deep Bass Nine and Rebirth can come close.

If you want that classic acid bassline sound, then the 303 is what you need, but be prepared to pay, with second hand prices usually well above $500.
